Greetings,

My father's great aunt Lina Thorpe Carr, often spoke of visiting relatives in
the Lebanon NJ area when she was a child. Their surnames were Ramsey and
Lewis. These visits would have been sometime around 1900. It is possible
that one of them may have been a funeral director. Anyway, we suspect that
these ancestors were of my GG grandmother Ella Hummer (1864-1925) who was
married to Orrie Thorpe (they were Lina's parents). I have no information on
Ella's ancestors and am interested in corresponding with anyone who knows
anything about the Ramsey, Lewis, and Hummer families in the area around
Lebanon during the 19th century.
