Subject: Hunterdon County Marriages

I recently found marriages of several Godowns in Hunterdon Co. from the
following book. A couple of these marriages conflict with the lineage on a
DAR application which was filed about 10 years ago. Can anyone suggest which
one I should trust? I'm inclined to go with the book.

"Marriage Records of Hunterdon County New Jersey 1795-1875," by Hiram E.
Deats, Vol. 1, (being an index to the marriages recorded in the office of
the County Clerk, at Flemington, NJ), published by Hunterdon House,
Lambertville, NJ, 1986
