I'd trust the Deats book, but I always verify. He (Deats) extracted his
information from the actual marriage records that were submitted by the
various J.P.'s and Ministers. You can order the appropriate marriage film
(look in the Family History Catalog for the appropriate year of marriage)
from the LDS Family History Center and verify the information
yourself...plus, quite often you will find the name of the parents,
occupation and twp that the bride/groom were living in at time of marriage,
and sometimes it will also list their ages.
