Does the following ring any bells with you Hunterdon Co. researchers??

TURNER, William Jun 16, l846 Oct l6, 1890

Back of this stone says "William Godwin Turner born
William Godwin in England 1789, fouqht with British in
War of 1812, deserted British army and changed his name
to Turner. Settled in Scioto County, Ohio. Erected by
Edwin G. Turner in 1949."
