Subject: Gardner Collection and 1700s Records

There is a Gardner Collection in New Brunswick, in the Alexander Library,
Special Collections at Rutger's University. I assume it's the one you're
talking about; but you should call to make sure. Rutger's also has a great
set of "Genealogy (or Genealogical?) Magazine of NJ," church records, county
histories, will abstracts,etc. I've found alot of stuff there, including that
for the early 1700s.
The NJ Historical Society in Newark has similar collections; but I think
Rutger's is more extensive.
