GEORGE W. WOOLEY died sometime between 1916 and 1925 somewhere in
Mass.
Can someone look up his death for me ???

He was born in 1836 in New Jersey. Married to Louisa Amelia
STURDEVANT in Bellevue, MI in 1866.
Louisa did in 1916 probably of a broken heart when her husband of 50
years was obsessed with the passion to return to his Whaling Days
and the Shores of Mass. When a young boy he sailed on the "Ganges"
out of Nantucket. He fought with US Grant at Belmont in the CW from
Randolph Co., Sparta, Ill. Married and raised his family in Eaton
Co., Bellevue, MI.

GG-GP WOOLEY was a member of the Grand Army Post and an a member of
Odd Fellows Lodge. He may have worked on the railroad.

When he returned to Mass. there was a newspaper article written
about his desire to return to sea at the age of 80 years. WHERE IS
THIS ARTICLE..CAN I FIND IT ON THE WEB ?

Where did he die ? Need records..? Obit... of his death. Now, it
must be somewhere in Mass... not sure of Nantucket or not?

Thanks in advance for help !!
