the dirivation of Everittstown N.J. Could you help me on this or refer me to

Dear William,
I also have an ancestor named Jacob EBERTH who was later called
EVERETT. He and his wife, Hannah LANGEVELT had 2 children baptized in
Montague Twp., Sussex Co., NJ at the Machackemeck Dutch Reformed Church
(1775 & 1780). These two were the last of at least 8 children. According
to HISTORY OF SUSSEX & WARREN COUNTIES, NEW JERSEY, 1881 compiled by Snell,
Jacob was born about 1735 in Germany and was "a practitioner of medicine".
This agrees with the DAR Patriot Index: "EVERETT, Jacob: b 1735 GR d 1802 NJ
m Hannah LONGAFELT Dr (doctor) NJ". HISTORY OF ... also states, "he first
took up residence in Hunterdon Co. where he married Hannah LANGAFELT,
daughter of a Presbyterian clergyman."

Snell's book is a compilation of biographical sketches and other
material relating to the area, not the product of in-depth genealogical
research. So, while there is no mention of a Heinrich is the list of
children, I wouldn't exclude this family. There are no daughters in the
list either. Yet I think the "son" Christian is actually my great+
grandmother Cristion/Christina. She is also variously called EBERTH and
EVERIT. Jacob and Hannah were sponsors at the baptism of Christina's son,
Jacob at Machackemeck DRC. I also suspect that Jacob may have first arrived
in Pennsylvania where he first married Anna Maria BASTIN 22 Jul 1753
"EBERHARD, Jacob & BASTIN, Anna Maria, servants in Darby Township
(Philadelphia) by permission of both Masters Tobias Morton, William Parker;
m. July 22 in Parochial house. Witness, Cunigunda WOLFARTIN", recorded in
the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation Record of Marriages. Then, on 14 Apr
1754 recorded at St. Michelmas German Evangelical Lutheran, "EBERH and w.
Anna Maria; bap. April 14; age 8 weeks; sponsor: Catharina HASIN."

Is there a mother's name given in the baptismal record for Heinrich?
Hannah LANGEVELT's father, Presbyterian minister in Hunterdon Co. may be
Henry LONGFIELD and wife, Anna SMITH. Has anyone come across these names?
