I have an Elizabeth Anderson - no birth or death date, though - she did marry
Benjamin Stout on December 1, 1765 in Hunterdon County, NJ. Her hubby,
Benjamin, was born 1745 so my Elizabeth was more likely a descendent or cousin
to yours if related at all.

The Stout Family book by Harold Stout says: "Many of the family went north
along the Hudson thence west thru the Mohawk Valley into the Northwest
Territory. This would appear to have been one of those families." He was
referring to Benjamin Stout - I believe he includes Elizabeth as Benjamin's
wife. I do recall seeing Andersons in the Mohawk Valley of NY in 1700s - they
were with the Palatinate.

I also have the following notation for Benjamin Stout and Elizabeth Anderson:
According to the DAR Patriot Index, Centennial Edition, in Part 3,

Benjamin Stout b circa 1740-45 NJ d 1821
married Elizabeth Anderson
Lt NJ

The above is obviously the same Benjamin Stout as ours on this family tree.
