I have info on the Hunterdon County Alpaughs. Lots of it from various
places. In the Genealogical Magazine of NJ, pg 75:
John Alpough, b 1739-40; d 1 Apr 1821, at Cokesbury in Tewksbury tp.; md
1776 (1) Elizabeth Eick 2 (Elizabeth (Hagar) Sharpenstine, widow of Mathias
Sharpenstine.
Ch of John and Elizabeth Eick:
John J, d 26 Dec 1768, bap as Johan Wilhelm 28 Feb 1769 md Catharine Apgar
Mary, d unm Feb 12 1850 in 82nd yr. Possible twin
Sophia, b 30 May 1771 md William Alpaugh Jr, 3 Apr 6, 1848

Ch of John and Elizabeth Hagar
George, b 28 Jan 1777 md Mary Sutton
Eve, b 21 Feb 1779, d unm June 1867
Peter, b 12 Feb 1781 md Anna Apgar; d 15 Mar 1863
