As many of you probably know, the NJHUNTER-L mail list is hosted by the
RootsWeb organization. They do not charge for running this list.

I just received a message from the mail list manager for Rootsweb that
they have had to close all of their mail lists. These means that only
subscribers to the list can post to the list. This action has been
taken to reduce the amount of spam that the RootsWeb servers are
receiving. You do not see most of this spam as they have filters to
eliminate spam from reaching you.

The closing of the list should not affect most of you. If you have
subscribed to the list you can continue to post to the list. The only
time that this will be a problem will be if you subscribed with one mail
address and try to post from another. In this case, you will have to
post from the mail address that you subscribed from.
