Peter and Jerusha DEREMER SWEAZEY had a son Joseph Sweazey (b 2 May 1860 in
Union Twp., Hunterdon Co.), who was killed by a train in Boundbrook, NJ. He
was alive for the 1870 census--still in Union Twp.
Where do I look to find more info on this train accident? Were there any
newspapers that might have had an article on it (and is there any possible
"easy" way to figure out when it happened)?
Also, I'd like to know if there is any public transportation going from NYC
anywhere near the vicinity of the Hunterdon County Historical Society or
Library, wherever I'd go to do research on the weekend. Renting a car for the
day is getting too expensive!
