For those interested in Abraham Van Horne who married Gertrude Wyckoff and
their son Abraham Van Horne who married Anna Covenhoven below is the son's
Rev. War pesnion application abstract.

Pension applications of Abraham and Anne Van Horne abstracted.
He applied Mar. 16, 1833 from Conawanga, Johnstown, Montg. Co., N.Y.; was son
of Abraham Van Horne b. Mar., 1740 and his wife Gerty Wyckoff, b. July 19,
1743; he was b. Dec. 31, 1763 at Reading, Hunt. Co., N.J. and lived there in
1778 when employed by his father, an Asst. or Dep. in the Commissary & Forage
Depts., under Moore Forman; etc. etc.
His father d. abt 1815.
After the War he became a minister; in 1790 moved to Esopus, or Kingston,
Ulster Co., N.Y. (5 years), then preached in Caughnawaga, town of Johnstown,
Mont. Co., N.Y.
Various supporting affidavits, incl. one from his bro., Cornelius W. Van
Horne, Som. Co., N.J., Nov 5, 1836, ae 65, stating that Abraham and their
father Abraham had charge of forage, etc. The father d. in 1817.
Anna Van Horne, widow, was md. to Abr. Oct 13, 1785 in N.J.; her maiden
name was Covenhoven; she was b. Oct. 9, 1767. Rev. A. VH. d. Jan 5, 1840 at
Mohawk.
