Don't know how much this may help but according to Deat's Hunterdon
County Marriages 1795-1875, there was a Thomas Silver who married Sarah
Adams on Jan 17, 1807 (by Justice of the Peace, Stevenson). This could be
John's father given marriage date and date you estimate John's birth. There
is also a John Silver who married Elenor Price on March 24, 1814 (by
minister Rue). The only problem here is date of marriage and John's
estimated birth date. You might try to match John and Rebecca children's
name with either of these two couples.
