Julia Emma VARICK of Hudson County married Howard ALPAUGH April 6, 1880.

Their son Howard ALPAUGHJr. was born January 2, 1881. Julia Emma died January
26, 1881.

In 1882 Howard ALPAUGH, Jr. was one of the heirs to his maternal
grandfather's estate. At the time his grandfather died he was living with
this grandfather and grandmother in Hudson County.

Julia Emma ALPAUGH is supposed to be buried in Clinton,NJ.
In April 1998 my husband and I spent several hours walking through the
cemeteries in Clinton but did not have any luck.
