To all Hunterdon County researchers:

There is a newly published book of Hunterdon County records just
available:

More Records of Old Hunterdon County, vol. I. Compiled by Phyllis B.
D'Autrechy. It's available for $29.00 (25 for the book and 4 for sh + h)
from the Hunterdon County Historical Society, 114 Main St. Flemington, NJ
08822.

The copy I ordered came in a bit over a week. I highly recommend it to
anyone doing research because it includes several maps showing how the
township borders changed. It has some Pennington Presbyterian church
records, orphans court records, etc. The period covered is broadly
1750's to 1850's (varies from source to source) and has a very good name
index.

I will volunteer to do some index lookups to see if a surname in question
appears but I wouldn't be able to type out the entries themselves if
they're longer than several lines. If you want to check for a specific
individual, give me first and last name and approximate dates
(remembering the dates of coverage from the preceding paragraph - thus,
do not ask for an ancestor who died in 1742 because that would be too
early)
