Mary, My grandfather was Lester Bellis Sherman, born 7-9-1891.
His father was Manning Force Sherman and his mother was Amy Catherine
Bellis.

I have a little Wolverton info, not much. Capt. Daniel Bray, b. abt
1750, married a Wolverton girl. Their children were Elizabeth, b. abt
1769, Delilah, b. abt 1770, and Wilson, b. abt 1771. The Wolverton girl
had a brother Jonathan and their father was Dennis Wolverton.
Dennis may have had a relative named Charles Wolverton, from whom he
purchased 150 acres Northwest of Kingwood Methodist Church in 1737.
Charles made a land purchase West of Rosemont in 1714.
I have a little more info about the Brays if you want it.
