Greetings,

According to Burd's 'Hunterdon County Marriages 1876-1900', John Hummer was
married to Cora Ramsey on Feb 23, 1888. Cora was the daughter of Joseph
Ramsey and Susan Johnson. I'm looking for information about John's parents.
I suspect that he was a brother to Ella Hummer (1864-1925) who was married
to Orrie Thorpe (1861-1916). Ella and Orrie are my GG grandparents and I'm
at a brickwall with Ella. My father remembers a connection between Ella and
the Ramsey and Lewis families of the White House area but no specific
details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
