I apologize for not picking up on this thread earlier, but I am so used to
seeing this family called Mohr or Moor rather than the now common Moore. My
ancestor was Susannah Mohr/Moor, sister of Daniel, who married Valentine Ent.

Are you Moore descendants aware that Dr. George Moore and his sister Shirley
Moore Barnes have published a mammoth new volume on this family (nearly 900 8
x 10 pages!)? It traces the Moores from the earliest documented ancestor in
eastern Switzerland, through the emigration to Innsbruck, Austria, finally to
Germany and America. Each generation is well documented and will add many
Mohr and allied families to your search.

I would point out that it is the Daniel line which is emphasized and his
first wife is shown as Catherine Storts rather than Stout.

As I recall the cost for the book _A Special Union_ was around $80. You might
want to contact Dr. Moore for further information:
