I'm having some trouble finding the death date, and also the parents of Henry
Lake of East Amwell. He was born about 1890, married Anna Swallow in Amwell
1813. He may not have been born in Hunterdon. Names of his children match
those of the Montgomery, Somerset Co., families: Nicholas, Jacob. The name
Henry (Hendrick) also occurs frequently there.
Unfortunately, I seem to be working on an undocumented branch of this
family. (I should look at this as a challenge!)
According to the 1875 census for East Amwell, his son Aaron (b. 1824-30)
was born in Rocky Hill, which is in Somerset Co., just above Princeton, NJ.
Any ideas, or has anyone else researched this branch of the Lake family
before?
