Hello - If Trenton was the county seat for Hunterdon County until 1790, does
that mean the county records prior to 1790 are located in the current
Courthouse at Trenton, or were they moved to Flemington when it became the
county seat? Or, would the records for Hunterdon County prior to 1790 be
located in the State Archives in Trenton? I'd appreciate any information
concerning the above questions. Thanks, Jim Burcham
