Subject: [NJHUNTER-L] financing revolution
Date: Sun, 30 May 1999 19:05:17 EDT
Are there records of people who helped raise money for the American
Revolution, but didn't fight in it? One source I found says that my
g-g-g-g-g-grandfather, Abraham DeREMER, raised money near Trenton.
Another source said Abraham's cabinet shop was destroyed in the Rev. War. I
haven't found any proof of that- maybe it was his son, Richard's shop.
Richard was in the War of 1812 (although I haven't found proof of that
either). Were places in NJ destroyed in the War of 1812?
