Hopewell Valley Heritage was written by Alice Blackwell Lewis, Not Lewis
Alice Blackwell. $25.00 seems like a very reasonable price for a signed
first edition.
The book is still available through the Hopewell Museum. Some of the
Surnames found in the index are:
Abbott, Anderson, Armitage, Baldwin, Blachly, Blackwell, Bunn, Burd,
Burroughs, Drake, Ege, Furman, Gano, Hallinger, Hart, Hill, Hoff, Holcombe,
Howell, Hunt, Lanning, Lewis, Marshall, Moore, Mott, Opdyke, Phillips, Reed,
Runyon, Sked, Stout, Titus, VanDyke, Voorhees, Weart, Wells, Williamson and
Woolsey.
There are a lot more names indexed.
