Family tradition (I suspect that a cousin did undocumented
research in the 1930s) has it that Elizabeth OSMUN was born in
Milford NJ. Which is Hunterdon County, I think.

My finding her obituary record provides a great more information
to work with.

From the New Milford Advertiser 20 Jun 1887
as found in the records of Philena Powers scrapbook
and maintained in the Susquehanna County Historical Society

Mr. Elizabeth Fuller, relict of Aseph Fuller, died May 28th, 1887
after a long and painfull illness. The funeral services were held
at the residence of her son Theo. Fuller, Rev. H.H. Wilbur, officiating.
The remains were interred in Harford cemetery. Mrs. Fuller was born in
the state of New Jersey, Feb 15th, 1800. She was married at the age
of eighteen years to Wm. A. Grant, to whom she bore three children,
two sons and one daughter. About six years after her marriage to
Mr. Grant, he started out with the money to purchase a farm and was never
heard from again, and it was generally supposed that he was murdered for
his money. After the loss of her husband she moved to Harford and finally
married Aseph Fuller and went to live with him on his farm in Lenox Township
where she lived until she died. To her second husband she bore nine
children, six of whom are living as following: Emeline, Susan, Diantha,
Lydia, Theo. and James. She lost her second husband about eighteen years
ago, and since that time she has lived with her son Theo. She lived on
the old farm about sixty-three years.

Can anyone in the group offer more information on Elizabeth or her first husband?

Thanks

Fred
