can you clarify any of these records contradictions??? Or are they just
things we post both of in our records?

>From the Kingwood Baptist Church marriage records posted online
125.Jediah Higgans and Ruth McFerson, Jan. 27
>From some other sources:
In the book "Marriage Records of Hunterdon County 1795-1875" By Hiram Deats:
There is a marriage for a RACHEL McPHERSON b. Jan 7, 1767 d. April 9, 1848
married Jan 27, 1809 to JUDIAH HIGGINS as his second wife. The listing does
not say if this is RACHEL's first or second marriage.
>From the CD#240 New Jersey Marriages 1680-1900 include the marriage of
RACHEL McPHERSON and JUDIAH HIGGINS on Jan 27, 1802 in Hunterdon Co. NJ
In the NJ ARCHIVES Marriage Records 1665-1800 : There is a marriage listed
for a RACHEL MacFERSON to JAMES POWER on July 24, 1774.
>From KINGWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH MARRIAGE RECORDS
1799
51.George Case and Sarah Macferson, Kingwood, April 1
The above Baptist Church records would indicate that the CASE/MACFERSON
marriage was not until 1799 although the will of CAPT. REUBEN MCPHERSON
dated in Oct 1795 indicates his daughter is already married to GEORGE CASE.
Will of REUBEN MCPHERSON follows:
>From a book entitled "Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, New Jersey" on page 20
and 25, Hunterdon County Divisions of Estates:
REUBEN MCFARSON, dec'd, Kingwood tp. (Dogtown), along the Great Road from
Quakertown to the South Branch of the Raritan River. Special Orphan's Court
14th Sept. 1826. Dower of widow, ELIZABETH, dec'd. Children (Mcfarson):
THOMAS, DAVID, REUBEN, SARAH, wife of GEORGE CASE, POLLY, dec'd formerly the
wife of ________ Tieple, leaving children, ANNA , wife of DAVID PIERSON.
Dated Oct. 1826. Bk. 1p. 243 . Map p. 249. (File #1640J, intestate, inv.
1796).
The accidental death by gunshot wound would explain his inestate death.
