Hello, Marvin, thank you, you pointed out a little difference in
distance and direction as far as Pittstown is concerned. The march
route of the Convention Army was actually passing through Hackettstown
on the 9.Dec.1778 to Changewater 10.Dec. and arriving Pittstown 11.Dec.
and Christian Almost/Almas may have taken off anywhere between those
points mentioned. I guess that Annandale may have been the closest
point to Oldwick, where he finally baptised a son in 1784.
Thanks for pointing my mistake out and forcing me to take a second look.
