"I am searching for the Rogers family of Hunterdon Co., NJ - mid
1700's:

THOMAS ROGERS died in Hunterdon Co., NJ abt. July, 1762. Named in
his will were: sons ALEXANDER, JOHN, WILLIAM, and SAMUEL, who
married MARTHA MARTIN. Daughter named as heir was: RUTH ROGERS,
who married JAMES MARTIN, and moved to ROCKINGHAM CO., NC. It has
been said that the Rogers & Martin families were "cousins".
Martha and brother Col. James Martin were born in Hunterdon Co.,
NJ, 1742 - 1750, children of HUGH MARTIN and JANE HUNTER MARTIN.
