Sandy - I don't know alot about these, but I have some information on the OTTO family:
Hans Peter OTTO, came to America in 1748 with wife Dorothea Catharina and children Anna Catharina,
Wilhelm Heinrich, and Anna Cuningunda. He was an elder in the Alexandria Ref'd Church in Hunterdon
Co.
Wilhelm Heinrich OTTO (aka William Henry), b. 8 Oct 1742, Flammersfeld, Westerwald, Germany;
married. Maria Veronica Verena ___?___; all but the last one of his 10 children were born in Alexandria
Twp, the last one was born in 1778 in Frederick Co, MD. He died Dec 1806 in Frederick Co, MD.
Most of William Henry OTTO's children settled in Bedford Co, PA.

A great many of the Germans who came into the US at Philadelphia during the mid 1700s appear to have
moved south into Frederick Co MD, and (across the river) in Loudoun Co, VA. Then in the late 1700s
(after the Rev. War) and early 1800s moved into Bedford Co area of PA and many went on to Ohio from
there.
