"Ditto", Dennis. Even though our folks moved out....in the mass migration to
Loudon County, VA.... long before the records start, I've really enjoyed
reading them.

While visiting Hunterdon County last month we managed to get to the Historical
Society library. The folks on duty were very accomodating and even though we
didn't find what we were looking for the trip was worth the effort. The
fustrating part was not knowing what was there and not being able to browse
the files. I wonder what's hidden away in the basement? Oh well! Just know
that you need to know what you're looking for when you go because browsing is
difficult due to limited space and time constraints. The volunteer staff on
duty was very knowledgeable about their collections and the librarian sat with
us and suggested some further avenues of research. All in all a good visit!
