Subject: [NJHUNTER] Hunterdon Cemetery Lists

Dear List,
I do not have the complete Hunterdon County Cemetery List.
What I do have are three large JPEG scans of pages 2, 3 and 4
sent to me by Linda Muessig. Since they were large and hard
to read, I started typing them into regular text format for my own
use. I have not finished typing them yet.
The first page was sent to me by Linda as an over 8 MB JPEG
file which is too large to read, view or otherwise. It took over an
hour to send via email. It is so large my viewer took 45 minutes
to open it and refused to close or save it so that I had to abort
the program afterwards. I did manage to hand copy the first 28
churches from page one and will include these in the final simple
text file.
This list, seemingly created by the D.A.R., is of Hunterdon County
churches, addresses of sorts, establishment years in some cases
and a simple "yes" if the church had it's own cemetery. The list sent to
me does not include where the records for any church or cemetery might
be found. I suspect this may be on a secondary page of the listings that
I do not have.
This suddenly and quite abruptly became my responsibility so - please -
be patient. When I am finished typing the last three pages and the
entries I could salvage from the first then I will send it to the whole list
in small pieces. Hopefully that will help someone.
Happy Hunting,
