Looking for info on the family of Joseph MOONEY who left New Jersey after
the Revolutionary War and spent a few years in Fayette County, PA before
moving west to Cincinnati, Ohio and then to Miaimi County, Ohio. He was
married to Rebecca FREEMAN sister of Samuel FREEMAN who also migrated to
Miami County, Ohio. Samuel Freeman's wife was Priscilla RITTENHOUSE,
daughter of William RITTENHOUSE. Samuel FREEMAN had a brother-in-law named
William MAXWELL. The Rittenhouse family was from Hunterdon and we suspect
the other families were from Hunterdon or areas nearby.
