Hi! I'm looking for info. regarding Alfred Kenneth CHAMBERLIN who was born in New Jersey about 1834. By 1870 & 1880, Alfred shows up in the Hunterdon Co., Clinton Twp., Lebanon, NJ census'. He was married twice. I descend from the second marriage to one Mary, ...last name unknown but thought to be SEAL(S). They had John V. CHAMBERLIN, b.1865, Lydia CHAMBERLIN, Lizzie (Elizabeth) CHAMBERLIN, and George A. CHAMBERLIN, b.1877. John moved to Anderson, Madison Co., IN, where he married Lizzie (Elizabeth) MEISTER, about 1890. They had a son, Alfred Simon CHAMBERLIN, named for his grandfathers: Alfred CHAMBERLIN & Simon MEISTER. Simon MEISTER was a beer brewer in Mauch Chunk, Carbon Co., PA (now Jim Thorpe). Similarity of spelling and location tell me that our family is probably related to the other CHAMBERLINs who lived in Hunterdon Co., NJ just to the south near Amwell & Flemmington who descend from Henry & Jane? CHAMBERLIN of Hingham, MA. Have the family back to Alfred !
& down from Henry to within a generation of each other...hoping someone can provide the link!!! Jonathan
