I am looking for the parents of Nathaniel G. Knowles and or any information
anyone might have reagarding Natahniel. He was born about 1800 and died in
1832-sometime in either late summer or early fall. He was married to Alice
Paiste of Bucks county. I believe the marraige took place in late summer or
early fall of 1823. She was disowned by the Quakers 12-06-1823 for marrying
out of unity. They had 3 sons, John Plantin, Benjamin Kinsey and Oliver H. In
1830 they lived in Solebury Township, Bucks County. The reason I am posting
to this list is that Nathaniel H. Knowles of Hunterdon whose wife was Ann
Margaret Lambert of Hopewell,lived in Philadelphia in1835 almost next door to
Nathaniel G's widow Alice. Perhaps there is a connection between to two men,
cousins maybe. If anyone has information about either Nathaniel I would
appreciate it.
