Subject: [NJHUNTER] VANDERBELT/VANDERBILT in NJ/PA 1700s-1800s

Would like to exchange information with anyone researching the VANDERBELT or
VANDERBILT families of New Jersey and Pennsylvania in late 1700s; early 1800s.

Jacob VANDERBELT was born about 1796. In 1856 he was living in Hunterdon Co.,
NJ when he signed an affadavit for Eleanor Vanderbilt DERR (1791 PA-1862 OH)
attesting to the fact that he witnessed Eleanor's marriage to Joseph DAHR in
1810, Big Springs Church, Newville, Newton Twp., Cumberland Co., PA. I think
Jacob may be a brother of Eleanor who is my 3rd great grandmother. I am
searching for names of her parents.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
