Hi there,

I hope I am in the correct List. My ancestor, Enoch Armitage settled in
Hopewell, Co. of Hunterdon, N.J. in 1719 after the death of his first
wife in Yorkshire. He purchased a farm called "Stoney Brook",
Hopewell. He lived there approx. 20 years with second wife, Hannah and
family before his death in 1739. His family consisted of daughters,
Mary Armitage who married Ephraim Titus, Lydia Armitage who married
William Green II and son Reuben who married Deborah Watson Ring. His
other son, John Armitage remained in England.

Would love to meet and share information with anyone with connections to
these families. Other surnames included are Hunt, Clifford and Van
Kirk.
