Looking for Ann or Anna Cole, born aprox. 1786. Ann married Richard DeRemer
on 3/24/1805, at Old Greenwhich Presbyterian Church. She was from Sussex
County (the area is now Warren County), Richard was from Hunterdon county.
At least one of their children was baptized at Mansfield-Woodhouse, I think.
Possibly, they moved to New York [Ithaca area?], and last they lived in
northeast PA. Their 10 children were born 1805-1825. Her second husband was
a Case; she died in 1856, in PA. She is possibly related to a Benjamin Cole,
who had a grist mill in Newark (?) or Benjamin who is listed with
Mansfield-Woodhouse Church.
I don't know what happened to Richard DeREMER. I have no record of him in
PA; but he must have been there. I have unconfirmed reports that he died
1831 or 1834, and that he was a Captain in the War of 1812.
