Jim LaRue,
Why not write to the church with a small donation and ask for more
information since you have the exact date, persons and minister and church?
Flemington United Methodist Church
116 Main Street
Flemington, NJ 08822
(908) 782-1070
One of the two parties might be a member with names of parents given in the
record. It was common to hold a ceremony in the parsonage where the
minister and his wife resided. The minister's wife was often called to
witness the ceremony. My in-laws were married in this same parsonage in
1937 during the recession.

PS The Methodist Archives in Madison at Drew University has very few church
records and only if the church became extinct and there was no where else
to send them.

>Does anyone know if there are records available from the M.E. Parsonage in
>Flemington NJ. and how to obtain them?
> I am trying to find more information about the marriage of Isaac LaRue
>and Sarah J. Green, which took place there on July 28, 1874.
> Rev. G. H. Winnans was the minister at the time.

>Sincerely,
>Jim LaRue
