"A brief guide to the Society's thirty manuscript collections processed
before 1985 was published in the Hunterdon Historical Newsletter,
Volume 21, #3, Fall 1985."

"Manuscripts are unpublished handwritten documents, transcripts,
photoduplicates and include such items as correspondence, legal
documents, diaries, journals, account books, genealogical notes,
non-current records of counties, towns, institutions, and organizations."
