Hi,

I am new to this list. Thought I sent in an e-mail but guess I didn't
since it didn't appear.

Searching for information on the following:
Col. James Martin b. abt 1761 who married Isabel Lemons. Believe Col.
Martin was the brother of Gov. Alexander Martin of NJ. Would greatly
appreciate any information on these or any Lemons (or any other
spellings such as Lemmons/Lemonds/Lemmond etc.) in NJ. We have finally
made a connection which makes us believe our Lemons/Lemonds came from
New Jersey.
Never dreamed of searching in NJ. Thought it would be VA and PA.
