Hello List,
In the 1960's John W. Kuhl of Pittstown, NJ wrote to Ralph Morton of Dayton,
Ohio a
short history of the Kuhl, Kase, Fisher, and relasted families etc... of
Hunterdon Co.,
NJ. Ralph sent me a photocopy of Mr. Kuhl's letter in 1969. Excellent
research by Mr.
Kuhl. Much of what Mr. Kuhl wrote later appeared in a book written by Henry
Z.
Jones, Jr. titled "More Palatine Families of New York & New Jersey" (almost
word
for word).
The two books of Henry Jones, Jr. about the early settlers and their
ancestry that the list might find very helpful are:
Henry Z. Jones, Jr also wrote a book titled "The Palatine Families of NY &
NJ.
Henry Z. Jones, Jr. "More Palatine Families of NY & NJ.
The two books below are of general interest:
