One small but excellent source is Guide to Flemingon, New Jersey, by Barbara
Clayton & Kathleen Whitley. Two pages are devoted to the cemetery and the
relationship between Johann Philip Kaes and Chief Tuccamirgan who died in
1750, buried on the Case property in what later became the Case Cemetery.
Another three pages contain information on the Case/Davis/Dvoor House at the
Route 12 Traffic Circle in Flemington including a short biography of Case,
his two wives, his father the German Duke karl DeKasse, and the Philadelphia
tanning business, etc. Also a cross-reference to the Kuhl Ancestral Farm &
Cemetery at Copper Hill Country Club, at the mention of the marriage of Eva
Maria Case to Paul Kuhl where you can read about the Kuhl family. This is an
enjoyable and educational little paperback still available at local
bookstores here in Hunterdon for $6.95.
