Hi! I'm looking for information about one Alfred K. Chamberlin. Alfred was married once - perhaps twice. The records of his kids located in Henry Co., IN, list the wife as Mary with the last name of either Byrd, Apgar or Alger/Alker. In 1865, they had John V. Chamberlin, followed by Lydia and Elizabeth. Later, in 1876, they had George Alvey Chamberlin. The "V." of John's middle name is for either Vincent or Vancliff/Vancleave. George's son, George, is still living in Richmond, IN and recalls that our family was somehow connected (perhaps through one of the girl's marriages) to a department store in or near Trenton, NJ. John and George moved to Anderson, IN where John m. Elizabeth "Lizzie" Meister & George m. Zettie Hartzell. Does anyone know anything about them? Jonathan
