Can anyone provide information on:
Sarah Rounsavill was married to Charles Van Camp (son of Gysbert and Mary
Van Campen), circa 1823 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Charles Van Camp
was born on September 21, 1790 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey., He died
on October 17, 1881 in Everittstown, Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County,
New Jersey was buried in the Kingwood Presbyterian "Oak Summit" Church
Cemetery in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.,

Charles Van Camp is listed on the 1840 Alexandria Township Census as having
the following household: 1 male 0-5 (unnamed son), 1 male 5-10 (Hiram), 1
male 10-15 (unnamed son), 1 male 40-50 (Charles), 1 female 15-20 (Sarah
Ann), and 1 female 20-30 (this would be his wife, Sarah Rounsavill).

Charles Van Camp is listed on the 1850 Alexandria Township Census as being
60 years of age along with Sarah Larrance Van Camp age 55; Sarah A. Van
Camp, age 25; and Hiram Van Camp, age 17. Judging by the age and name, I
believe that Sarah Larrance Van Camp is not the same female listed in the
1840 Census as being 20-30. Consequently, it is our belief that Charles
Van Camp's first wife, Sarah Rounsavill, died in the interval between 1840
and 1850.

Sarah Rounsavill and Charles Van Camp had the following children:

(6-128) Sarah Ann Van Camp (1824-1900) married William Case
(6-129) Hiram Van Camp (b. 1833) noted auctioneer
(6-???) Daughter Van Camp (b. circa 1830) married Elijah Mettler
(6-???) Watson J. Van Camp (b. circa 1830) Commissioner of
Insurance of NJ
(6-???) Elizabeth Van Camp (b. circa 1830) married Vanderbelt

Can anyone tell me the dates of bith and death for the above listed
children and also the information on Charles' wife Sarah Rounsavill Van
Camp? I have been told that a Sarah Van Camp died in 1857 in Warren
County, NJ but Charles' obituary states that he lived in Palmyra
(Everittstown) all his life... i.e., Hunterdon County.

Thanks,
Brian
