It seems New Jersey has no laws governing cemetery preservation.
If they do nobody is watching. I visited a New Brunswick cemetery
this past summer and found several gravestones had been bulldozed
into an overgrown corner of the graveyard. The winos had made tables
out of them.

I had high hopes as I learned several STALEE / NEVIUS / SILLCOCKS
relatives were there. I didn't find a single stone and imagine them to be
buried in the rubble. As for the law, this cemetery is directly across
the street from the police station.

Good Hunting!
