Subject: [NJHUNTER] George Hoffman of Cokesbury

Greetings,

I am currently researching my 3G GF George 'Yermickle' Hoffman and his wife
Elizabeth Conover (any guesses on what 'Yermickle' might mean?). George,
born c1803, was the son of Frederick and Mamie Hartrum Hoffman and probably
lived in or near Cokesbury, Tewksbury TWP. I am a descendant of their
daughter Aullie 'Oly' Hoffman who was married to Benjamin Harrington.
Chambers lists twelve children for George and Elizabeth but I suspect that
Elizabeth probably died at a relatively young age as George is listed in the
1850 census married to a 'Lydia' with whom I believe he had additional
children.

George and Elizabeth are on my Mom's side but I've got Hoffmans on my Dad's
side as well (between the Hoffmans Apgars, and Trimmers my folks are related
to each other close to a dozen different ways). I'd love to compare notes
with other Hoffman researchers, especially anyone else researching George and
his family.

Regards,

Rick Novak
