1. Clara Oppitz (Truly Klara Oppitz) is listed on the 1900 census in Union
Township, 22 June 1900, Suvp. Dist. No. 4, Sheet 8, Enum. Dist. No. 26, line
Page No. 5324, Dwelling # 171, Family # 181 with 2 of her sons: Lewis K.
(actually Louis K.) and William (known as Bill). Clara is 53 years old at
this time, and it says that she is a widow. She was a mother of 4 children
with 3 living. Place of birth is Austria; year of immigration is un
(probably unknown, and I have never found this either.) Louis K. is 23 years
old and teaches school. Bill is 13 years old and in school. Clara rents a
house.

2. If Clara or Klara is still living in the same place it will be Union
Township. But if she is in a mental institution she will be somewhere else I
assume.

3. I also know that Louis K. worked in the peach basket business during the
summer months for sure when he was not teaching.
