I've been watching the lists for several weeks and hope to find someone
researching the following lines in Somerset & Hunterdon Counties;
Hoff/Huff, Seals, Van Deripe, Jones, Voorhees, Conover, Hixon Hall,
Hoagland, Fisher, Wortman, Bunn
I'm particularly interested in the the Hoff's. My g-gf Jacob Russell married
Emma Seals of Flemington in 1895. Jacob's father William H. & grandfather
William (Sr.) were millers, living at various times in Hunterdon (Three
Bridges) & Somerset. I'm trying to establish where William Sr. was born
about 1817-1820. He died in 1858 and I'd also like to find his burial place.
I've extracted all I can from the Somerset Co. Historical Quarterly &
Snell's, but can't connect him to any of the many other Hoff/Huffs families
in NJ. Any help or suggestions welcome.
