I am looking for Peters of Amwell/Kingwood area!

I descend from a John Peters who married a Rachel Pownall in 05/19/1779
in Hunterdon County, NJ. Rachel was from Bucks County, PA. Rachel's family
were Quakers but I believe John Peters was Scottish! Rachel's Mother was
Effie Bird. Effie was born in NJ and her father is speculated to be Elisha
Bird and mother, Cathrina Ringo.

Somehow the Wilson's may be connected!!
