Hi all. I just received this message from a Bob Lewis of Utah, who is
beginning to research his family from Somerset County. If you recognize
any of the names and can help him - please do so! I'll also answer the
questions he asked of me. If you contact him directly, please copy me,
too, as I'm interested in his request. Thanks.

Hi Harry and Sharon, My name is Bob Lewis and I'm doing some =
Genealogy on my Dad's family who are from your area. I'm not sure how =
big Bell Mead is today, but you may even know some of his relatives who =
still reside in Belle Mead. My Dad's uncle Gene Lewis and Aunt Dell =
(his sister) lived in this area. I am living in Utah and sort of far =
removed from some of the family research but have the resources of the =
Mormon church to help.
I am specifically looking for information about my grandfather's =
family the Crays. Jeremiah Cray jr. was married in 1862 to Catherine =
Bigley. His father was Jeremiah Cray Sr. and was married to Allie =
Hegeman in 1836. They were all members of the Harlingen Dutch reformed =
church and information I have received from my Aunt Marion Weagley nee =
Lewis said Jeremiah Sr. was born (on the mountain) at the Cray family =
homestead in Somerset County.
I have at one time seen records of the local blacksmith in Rock =
Mills with many of the local residents and members of the church my =
family included.
If you would be able to look up any other information on the Cray =
