Would appreciate any information on Phineas or Phinhas Dun who was in Orange
Co. NY 1780, but I believe may have been in Hunterton Co previsouly.
His will names wife, Anne and daughters Elizabeth Zurviah. My ancestor,
Moses Carpenter was an executor, and I wonder why. Also in Gramma's old
pictures is a charcoal drawing of A. Dun, a young woman. I wonder if she
could be Anne Burgess.
Can anyone help me identify her or Phineas?
My ancestor, Moses Carpenter first wife was Elizabeth Runyon, dau of Richard
Runyon and Anne Van Court, b. Morris Co. N J, probably died 1774/5 after the
death of her dau,
Elizabeth Runyon Carpenter.
Any clues would be helpful. Thank you,
Phoebe in CA
