Subject: [NJHUNTER] Case Family of Hunterdon

I've been on this list a long time and this is the first time I've seen much
interest in the Case Family of Hunterdon Co. Great ! My husband has a John
Case too. Ours was born Nov 18 , 1778, married Catherine Van Doren Oct 10
1802 according to well kept family records. Their first two sons were Jacob
and Isaac. They subsequently moved to Tompkins Co.. NY and about 1830 moved
to Licking Co. OH. I have the list of their children. His father was said
to be Peter Case b. in Sept. but that's all the information I have.
I believe him to be son of Peter Case, s/o Tunis Case. Both were naturalized
in 1755, but can't prove it Peter married Anne Herter. Does anyone have any
info on these families or know anything about other John Cases of that
period. Or does anyone else have another John who is purported to be son of
Peter Case and Anne Herter?
